The purchase of the new Nipson VP200 duplex printer affirms the company’s ongoing commitment to offering high quality mono print services for businesses.
Why mono print?
David Wright, Sales Director and H.O of Mailbox explains why the company has made a conscious decision to invest £200,000 in the more traditional print services.

Black and white print is still a popular choice for businesses, offering quicker print speeds and greater efficiencies as well as being visually appealing, creating crisp, clear lettering and imagery. So while colour is an important part of design and impact, black and white text is clearer to read and offers an effective and economical alternative.
Mailbox’s Nipson printer replaces the current Xerox 495 machines, though all units three will be in service as the division gears up for a busy autumn. With a maximum production speed of 150 metres per minute, the reel-fed machine can print up to 2.5 times faster than the existing Xerox units. It can print fan-folded stationery and other applications on a range of materials from lightweight paper (40 gsm) to heavy card stocks (240 gsm) as well as labels, foils, carbonless stocks and coated materials.
Providing integrated marcomms services
The Taylor Bloxham Group has recently invested in both digital and litho printing equipment as well as in print finishing technology. This latest upgrade at Mailbox is the latest step in a two-year programme of investment designed to enable the group to offer a range of integrated marcomms services.
Set up in 2017 as part of the strategy to expand its service offering, Mailbox offer a full range of direct mail production services as well as data cleansing, postage solutions and returns management. The new Nipson laser printer will complement a range of in-house capabilities with envelope enclosing from BUHRS, Sitma and CMC.
